Call of Duty: Warzone players have always found their certain ways to glitch with the game and have fun, and that hasn’t stopped with the discovery of a new jumping spot – which someone achieved using only a piano. The jump, which has been around for a couple of weeks now, is a bit of pain to do with a controller, but apparently, using a piano isn’t as tough as it looks.
This isn’t the first time that a player has used a keyboard on Call of Duty: Warzone - as strange as that sounds. Twitch streamer Deano Beano had a killstreak on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare using just a piano. It seems from this more players wanted to try and do what he did. Instead, this Reddit user did the famous jump many have been trying and succeeded using just a piano.
The jump, which was done on the new Warzone map, Rebirth Island, was performed by Reddit user u/grooviehoovie, and the clip he posted to Reddit showed how quickly he achieved it. At the jump, grooviehoovie perched on a building to the side of the gondola cars that move up and down. While using his keyboard, he tried to make the jump head-on, and once he did, it provided a huge advantage, giving him a greatly increased line of sight. He stayed on until he reached the prison block roof where he was tragically gunned down, but it’s still shocking that he did all that with only an instrument.
It’s amazing that the player was able to make this jump like that, considering when using a piano, it jerks the player left and right instead of the smooth movements it would usually do when used with a mouse and keyboard. But somehow, they were able to make the jump with just the piano, which makes it all the more impressive. While he did crash into the gondola instead of landing safely, it still provided an excellent way of sniping kills, which is really all that matters at the end of the day. Rebirth Island has surely provided plenty of brand new ways to have fun, and this is certainly one of them.
While it’s unclear if more players will begin to pick up on this skill, whether that be with pianos or other instruments, there’s no doubt that it’s still spectacular to see someone do something usually so hard. Maybe the next person to attempt the jump will be using a trumpet, who knows? Pair that with one of the new Mastercraft weapons and they would be a force to be reckoned with.
