‘Deadliest Catch’ star Nick McGlashan dead at 33

“Deadliest Catch” star Nick McGlashan died on Sunday. He was 33.

McGlashan’s family told TMZ that he passed away in Nashville. His cause of death has yet to be determined by the medical examiner.

McGlashan, who worked on the Summer Bay fishing vessel, appeared on the crabbing reality series from 2013 to 2020.

He struggled with alcohol and drugs and entered rehab during the show’s 13th season. He became sober and served as an advocate for those wanting to get clean. He highlighted his sobriety on his Instagram and Facebook page bios.

Over the summer, fellow “Deadliest Catch” star Mahlon Reyes died following a heart attack at age 38.
