Caroline Polachek and Lauren Auder Cover “Some Small Hope”: Listen

Caroline Polachek has teamed up with singer-songwriter Lauren Auder to cover a song written by Virginia Astley and Ryuichi Sakamoto. Listen to their version of “Some Small Hope,” produced by Polachek’s frequent collaborator Danny L Harle, below; scroll down for the original, which also features David Sylvian. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the “Some Small Hope” cover will go to Shelter Partnership Los Angeles, Mermaids UK, and Shelter UK.

Back in 2016, Polachek and Harle shared “Ashes of Love.” More recently, Harle produced several tracks across Polachek’s Pang, as well as the singer’s cover of the Corrs’ “Breathless.”

In October, Lauren Auder released her single “Quiet,” produced by Danny L Harle. She’s since shared the mmph-produced “Animal.” And, back in March, Auder issued her sophomore EP, two caves in.
