But when you look at the literal definition of enigma, “a person or thing that is mysterious, puzzling, or difficult to understand”, it doesn’t really apply to Erika. Because one thing she isn’t is complex. But you know who really deserves the title of enigma?
Dorit Kemsley is an enigma wrapped in lawsuits and rental properties. Dorit wears a coat of many colors. She is a wife and mother. She is fashion maven. But above all else, Dorit is a… DESIGNER. Need a bathing suit made of hankies? Dorit is there for you. Need a room to transport you to the Isle of Capri? Dorit can handle that too. Now Dorit is lending her gift to another venture. Friends, Dorit is answering the prayers of brides everywhere. STEP ASIDE, Vera Wang, for Dorit Kemsley has entered the group chat.
Even though Dorit was at the center of what historians will call “the winter of RHOBH’s discontent” thanks to a dodgy dog adoption, last season found Dorit somewhat redeeming herself. Basically she didn’t take any of Kyle Richards’ shit and fans were here for it. Unlike Kyle, Dorit is no stranger to fashion. We’ve seen her don haute couture labels like Alexander McQueen, Balmain, and CHA NEL. Now Dorit is lending her eye to another branch of the depeche mode tree, wedding gowns.
Dorit made the announcement via her Instagram. Pictured in a draped, lacey frock, that was definitely not taken off your nana’s supper table, Dorit wrote, “Below are 2 lies and 1 truth. Can you guess the truth?

Honeys, I don’t know what we did to deserve such a gift, but here we are.
Following in the footsteps of celebrated design houses like, Kyle x Shahida, She by Shereé, and Sonja by Sonja Morgan – now we have, Buca di Bridal? No I’m sorry, it’s The Dorit Kemsley Collection x Neketria. It looks as if the first beautiful sample piece is a nod to the nude illusion trend from four years ago. And even though this particular number might be more here comes my ass than here comes the bride, Dorit is a vision of loveliness.

Dorit added, “It’s been such a thrill to pour my heart into designing all these fierce, show stopping pieces. One thing I’m sure of, Dorit will be VERY involved in the design and production of her new line. Not like SOME people who produced caftans they had never seen before. And allow me to go on record right now and say if we don’t get some heavily Bedazzled statement hair clips spelling out I and DO, then who is Dorit Kemsley in this world?
