Andy Cohen: Kris Jenner wouldn’t do ‘RHOBH’ because she’d have ‘no control’

Reality TV

Andy Cohen doesn’t think Kris Jenner would ever join “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” after fans clamored for her to be cast on the reality series.

“I don’t think she would do it. She is leaving a show for which she has total control over,” he said on SiriusXM’s “Radio Andy” of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” coming to an end. “Why would she leave and join a show that she has no control over?

“She wouldn’t be an executive producer of the show. She wouldn’t have control over the edits,” he continued. “I think for someone who is used to having so much power of a show, I can’t see her surrendering that power.”

Jenner, 64, appeared on “RHOBH” this past season and is close friends with series veteran Kyle Richards. Faye Resnick, who also has appeared frequently on “RHOBH,” is best friends with Jenner.

The Kardashian-Jenners announced the E! reality series would end in 2021 after 14 seasons and 20 years on the air. Page Six later reported exclusively that the family wanted to end on a “high note” as the family struggles with personal issues such as Kanye West’s mental health.

We also reported that NBC-owned E! was hit hard financially by COVID-19 and couldn’t afford the Kardashian-Jenners’ sky-high paychecks. E! already canceled its titular “E! News” and “Pop of the Morning,” among other shows.
