Fucked Up, Code Orange, Touché Amoré, More Remember Power Trip’s Riley Gale

Power Trip frontman Riley Gale died last night at the age of 34. Following the news of Gale’s death, numerous artists shared tributes to the frontman, including Fucked Up, Touché Amoré, Code Orange, Anthrax, Uniform, Coheed and Cambria, Geoff Rickley, and more. “Riley forever,” Touché Amoré wrote on Twitter. “Devastating news. All our deepest love and condolences to his band, family, friends and Texas.” Find dedications to Gale below.

Power Trip confirmed Gale’s death in a statement posted to Twitter earlier tonight. “It is with the greatest of sadness we must announce that our lead singer and brother Riley Gale passed away last night,” they wrote. “Riley was a friend, a brother, a son. Riley was both a larger than life rock star and a humble and giving friend. He touched so many lives through his lyrics and through his huge heart.”

The cause of Gale’s death has not yet been revealed. Power Trip’s statement concluded with a request for privacy. They also encouraged fans to donate to Dallas Hope Charities.
