Which Marvel Netflix Character Are You Based On Your Zodiac Sign?

Movies

The short lived but well reviewed runs of Marvel shows on Netflix included Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist. While only Daredevil has seen a big screen adaptation (though not nearly as good as the television version) the characters are all still well known and beloved across the Marvel fandom.

For fans who miss the darker edgier Marvel universe, here are some of the very best characters that the shows had to offer, sorted into the zodiac signs that they best represent.

12 Capricorn – Mariah Dillard

Mariah Dillard, played by the ever excellent Alfre Woodard, was the good guy who lived long enough to see herself become the villain on Luke Cage.

Like many Capricorns, Dillard was ambitious (trying to rehabilitate Harlem was no small task) as well as persistent. It was the fact that she was realistic as well that led her to switch sides after participating in murder. She was nothing if not practical, no matter what side of the law she was on.

11 Aquarius – Colleen Wing

Aquariuses are known for being assertive, original, and independent. Collen Wing of Iron Fist is certainly all three. The martial arts specialist knows her trade, and her own mind. Even after years with the Hand, she does the right thing and sides with Rand/Iron Fist in the end.

Why? Because overall she’s independent and assertive. She makes quite the addition to any team, and Danny Rand is lucky to have her.

10  Pisces – Karen Page

Karen starts out as assistant in the law office of Nelson and Murdock and obviously works her way up. Karen is empathetic, taking good care of clients that come in.

She is imaginative, which keeps her believing in the best of people and the law, despite everything she is witness to in her life and in the law office. Karen is a survivor, and certainly an important addition to Nelson and Murdock.

9 Aries – Iron Fist

Like Iron Fist himself, those born under the sign of Aries are known for being passionate, motivated, and confident, as well as very determined. These traits are what keep Danny Rand fighting for New York City and searching for the truth behind his family company.

While he sometimes lacks a little confidence, he can find what he needs through his motivation and determination.

8 Taurus – Daredevil

Matt Murdock is a Taurus if there ever was one. Daredevil, like Taurus, is practical, stoic, determined, ambitious, and stubborn. Nothing but pure stubbornness could have made Matt into one of the greatest heroes New York ever saw.

His ambition and determination to make over Hell’s Kitchen is what drives his hero work, as well as his time in the court room as a lawyer. Tauruses work hard, and Murdock barely ever takes an hour, much less a day, off for himself.

7 Gemini – Cottonmouth

Luke Cage Cottonmouth

Cottonmouth was the villain who faced down Luke Cage on the hero’s own show. Cottonmouth was the owner of a night club and leader of a crime family that, as crime families sometimes do, began to fail due to intervention from Luke Cage.

Cottonmouth knew how to adapt to different situations, that’s how he kept the family successful for so long. He was intelligent and outgoing, he knew how to make an entrance and a statement. However, he was also, like many Geminis, impulsive, which can often cause problems when it comes to crime.

6 Cancer – Foggy Nelson

Foggy Nelson, faithful law partner to Matt Murdock, is certainly a Cancer. He’s loyal, no question. He’s also very protective of his law office, his assistant Karen, and even Matt (especially when he doesn’t know Matt’s superhero identity).

He’s very caring, but also very sensitive, which can lead to some arguments with Matt Murdock, who can’t quite explain things all the time without giving away his secret identity and superhero alter ego.

5 Leo – Kilgrave

The main villain of Jessica Jones, played wonderfully by David Tennant, was certainly a Leo. Leo’s are known for being confident and even a bit arrogant, which Kilgrave certainly was.

Like Leo’s Kilgrave was also intense and moody, not to mention obsessive. His obsession with Jessica Jones was creepy, and it was quite cathartic when Jessica was finally able to overcome her archenemy.

4 Virgo – Luke Cage

Some key Virgo traits include strength, passion, observation, and intensity. That describes Luke Cage to a T.

The super strong and injury resistant hero was certainly powerful and intense. He tries to clean up his neighborhood of crime, and his intense focus and passion keep him on track no matter how many baddies he comes up against along the way.

3 Libra – Jessica Jones

Jessica Jones is complicated as a person. The abuse she suffered from Kilgrave and the loss of her parents make her edgy and sometimes cruel on the outside.

However, Jessica is really searching for a balance in her life, as many Libras are. She can be a bit self indulgent, and drinking isn’t always a good choice for her, but all she’s really looking for is peace of mind and peace in her community.

2 Scorpio – Kingpin

Kingpin, or Wilson Fisk, was the major crime boss who comes into conflict with Daredevil over what Hell’s Kitchen should be.

Like many Scorpios, Fisk is very determined to see his vision through. He is ambitious, secretive, and resentful. He believes in everything he does and can’t understand anyone who would fight against the future he is working to put into place.

1 Sagittarius – Claire Temple

Claire Temple is an excellent balance for Luke Cage, especially as a Sagittarius. Sagittarians are known for being optimistic, funny, fair-minded, honest and intellectual.

She believes that things can get better, and is always honest with any of the superheroes she finds herself patching up. She’s smart, knowing when to keep her mouth shut, but also honest enough to be able to tell everyone from Jessica Jones to Matt Murdock exactly what it is she thinks.
