Australian rapper Tkay Maidza is making her 4AD debut with her new Last Year Was Weird, Vol. 2 EP. The eight-song release arrives August 7. Today, Maidza has shared the music video for a new song with Kari Faux. Maidza directed the “Don’t Call Again” video with Jordan Kirk. Watch below.

“‘Don’t Call Again’ is the conversation I wish I could have had in my relationships over the past few years (both romantic and non-romantic),” Maidza explained in a press release. “Standing up for yourself can be tough when you’re so close to something. When we completed the track I always felt Kari would be perfect for it because she keeps it so real when she’s talking relationships. Glad we got to do a track together mid pandemic.”

Tkay Maidza released her studio debut Tkay in 2016. She followed the album with her Last Year Was Weird, Vol. 1 EP in 2018. Maidza’s new EP includes “Awake” (featuring JPEGMAFIA) and her recent single “Shook.”
