Missouri Gov. Mike Parson unveiled a state reopening plan on April 27 that includes a note that live concerts can resume starting on Monday (May 4), Billboard reports. Missouri is the first state in the U.S. to reopen live events amid the coronavirus pandemic. The plan dictates that “seating shall be spaced out according to social distancing requirements” and that concertgoers must remain at least six feet apart.

The mayors of Missouri’s major cities St. Louis, Springfield, and Kansas City have revealed that live concerts and large gatherings will not return at the cities’ stay home orders will remain intact. “We will continue to be guided by data, not dates,” St. Louis Mayor Lyda Krewson said in a statement.
