Kesha has canceled her North American tour with Big Freedia due to the continual COVID-19 pandemic. “I’m so sad to announce that I am unable to move forward with rescheduling my 2020 High Road Tour due to health and safety concerns,” Kesha wrote in an Instagram post earlier today (May 1). “This is heartbreaking, but the safety of my fans & crew is my number 1 priority. Because of the current situation, doing this tour in 2020 is no longer feasible.” Find her full post below.
The tour was originally slated to kick off April 23 in Texas and wrap up June 5 in Windsor, Ontario. Kesha’s High Road tour was meant to be in support of her most recent studio album of the same name, which arrived earlier this year. Since releasing High Road, Kesha has hopped on Big Freedia’s single “Chasing Rainbows” and released a song about Nicolas Cage.
