HarperCollins Releasing Audiobook of Three ‘Vampire: The Masquerade’ Stories

Horror

It’s sucks (no pun intended) that Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 won’t be released until later this year. But, with Draw Distance’s Coteries of New York headed to consoles later this month (and the recent mod of the original game), you have something to tide you over.

However, for those who still want more, HarperCollins and World of Darkness have teamed up for a series of audiobooks set in the Vampire: The Masquerade universe. Vampire: The Masquerade: Walk Among Us includes three distinct stories: “A Sheep Among Wolves” by Genevieve Gornichec, “Fine Print” by Cassandra Khaw, and “Land of Milk and Honey” by Caitlin Starling. Each story takes a different look at the life of a Kindred.

In “A Sheep Among Wolves”, depression and radicalization go hand-in-hand as a young woman finds companionship in the darkness. In “Fine Print”, an arrogant tech bro learns the importance of reading the fine print in the contract for immortality, while in “Land of Milk and Honey”, ideals and ethics bump heads with appetite on a blood farm.

Launching on June 16, the audiobooks can be preordered for $26.99 over at the HarperCollins website.
