Yaeji is back. The Korean-American producer, DJ, and vocalist has announced her first-ever mixtape, WHAT WE DREW 우리가 그려왔던, which arrives on April 2 via XL. Yaeji has also released the first single from the project, “WAKING UP DOWN,”’ with a new animated video. The video was produced by Studio Yatta and features creative direction/illustration by Annie Zhao in addition to character design by Yaeji herself. Watch that below.
Yaeji is taking her mixtape on the road this summer with a slew of live dates in North America and Europe. Among her stops is a Sunday, July 19 set at Pitchfork Music Festival 2020 in Chicago.
