Shooting at Lil Baby’s Alabama Concert Leaves 1 Hospitalized

Lil Baby’s performance at Bill Harris Arena in Birmingham, Alabama last night (March 7) ended in chaos as one person was shot, The Birmingham News reports. Police have confirmed that one person was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries; there’s no suspect in custody.

A video of the incident shows Lil Baby performing when an altercation appears to spill onto the stage from the backstage area. After a few moments, a gunshot can be heard as the crowd begins running out of the venue. The concert was stopped and police cleared the venue.

Pitchfork has reached out to Lil Baby’s representatives for comment.
