Wes Anderson’s New Movie The French Dispatch Gets First Trailer: Watch

The first trailer has been released for Wes Anderson’s new movie The French Dispatch. The film arrives in theaters on July 24. Watch the tailer below. Frances McDormand, Bill Murray, Tilda Swinton, Benicio del Toro, Owen Wilson, Elisabeth Moss, Adrien Brody, Timothée Chalamet, Edward Norton, Saoirse Ronan, Jason Schwartzman, Henry Winkler, Bob Balaban, Christoph Waltz, Anjelica Huston, Lyna Khoudri, Stephen Park, and many others star in the film. The score is composed by Alexandre Desplat.

The French Dispatch will tell stories “from the final issue of an American magazine published in a fictional 20th-century French city.” Anderson wrote the screenplay, and he co-wrote the story with Jason Schwartzman, Roman Coppola, and Hugo Guinness. The New Yorker recently offered a first look at the movie, which is based on the magazine’s history.
