Netflix has released the first teaser video for its forthcoming show about the life of the late singer Selena Quintanilla, Selena: The Series. The clip is the first look at Walking Dead actor Christian Serratos’ portrayal of the Mexican tejano star. Watch the video below.
The meta clip shows Serratos in costume as Selena, reading a script in her trailer, then greeting the actors that play her father and a young Selena before stepping onto a soundstage to perform her hit “Como la Flor.”
The series is due to hit the streaming platform in 2020, though an exact launch date has yet to be announced.
