Throbbing Gristle Announce Deluxe Vinyl Reissues

Music, News

Earlier this year, Mute Records announced that they had partnered with Throbbing Gristle to bring the band’s discography to streaming services for the first time. The label also revealed that they planned to make “long out of print and important pieces of work” from the band publicly available, both physically and digitally, for the first time, including box sets of previously unavailable material and images. Now, Throbbing Gristle has announced Reformation Years Reissues, compiling 2004’s A Souvenir Of Camber Sands and TG Now, as well as 2007’s Part Two: The Endless Not.

The reissues will be available on CD and vinyl LPs, and they arrive December 13 via Mute. Listen to “Fed Up” from A Souvenir Of Camber Sands below.

A Souvenir Of Camber Sands was recorded live during a performance at ATP’s Nightmare Before Christmas in Camber Sands, England in 2004. The occasion marked a reunion for the bandmates—Chris Carter, Peter Christopherson, Genesis P-Orridge and Cosey Fanni Tutti—who reformed 23 years after calling it quits.

Part Two: The Endless Not and TG Now will be packaged together as a 3xLP clear vinyl box set complete with a limited edition poster. The two releases will also be available digitally and on a 2xCD.
