The latest reincarnation of Kim Kardashian has been pretty woke. From working on prison reform to studying for the bar exam, she really has changed a lot since she first became famous.
In contrast, Kim recently shared a story about delaying the birth of her daughter North West so she could get McDonald’s, a bikini wax, and a manicure- despite her pressing medical concerns with preeclampsia.
Entertainment Tonight quoted Kim’s recent comments on her BFF Jonathan Cheban’s podcast. Everyone has a podcast these days, huh?
Kim shared, “I go, ‘I need a McGriddle at McDonalds.’ I told Jonathan, ‘Do you mind driving me to get a bikini wax?’”
Jonathan elaborated, “I actually had to squeeze her inside of the car and pull her out to get this wax.”

That day, Kim’s doctor called her and said, Hey, you have preeclampsia, you have to deliver right now.” Even so, Kim didn’t see the urgency. Somehow.
She recalled, “My nails were, like, dark. It was when I was still in my Linkin Park After Dark phase of nails or like my Burgundy nails.” What. A. Crisis.

Kim added, “And I was like, ‘Oh, no no, I’m having a girl. I really need a nice light pink nail for delivery.’ So I told the doctor, ‘Are you sure I have to deliver right now? Can you give me like two hours?’ And he was like, ‘Fine, meet me in two hours.’” Wow, Kim, wow.
First of all, I cannot believe that actually happened, especially considering the struggles she had with preeclampsia. Second, I don’t get why she shared that story. It really doesn’t align with the studious, socially-aware Kim Kardashian that we’ve seen a lot of lately.
