American Football Announce New Year One Demos Compilation to Celebrate 20th Anniversary of Debut

Music, News

American Football have announced Year One Demos, a previously unreleased compilation of instrumental demos that make up the “first proper set of demos the band ever made.” The new release arrives to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the emo group’s seminal self-titled debut album. It includes a demo version of “Five Silent Miles” (which would later appear on the self-titled EP that preceded their first LP) as well as early versions of “Summer Ends” and “For Sure.” Year One Demos will be released on vinyl and digital on December 13.

Following their 17-year-hiatus, American Football returned with a new album in 2016. Their third self-titled record was released earlier this year.
