Below Deck Mediterranean Chef Ben Robinson “Jokes” That Hannah Ferrier “Tried To Rape” Him; Says She Came Onto Him “Very Aggressively”

There’s a lot of tension in the Below Deck Mediterranean galley ever since Ben Robinson returned. The audience was relieved to have Ben back on television, but First Stew Hannah Ferrier was not happy about his resurgence. At all.

Longtime Below Deck Med viewers might recall Season 1 of the show when Hannah had an interest in Ben. After a crew night out, she tried to make a move on him, but he rebuffed her advances. Instead, she saw firsthand when Ben had sex with Tiffany Copeland. Ouch. Talk about awkward. However, that was basically a whole lifetime ago, especially since this show changes up its cast so often. Could that encounter be why Hannah was mad about Ben’s return? Or was she just done with all of the chef drama from Season 4?

On the September 9 episode of Watch What Happens Live, a fan asked Ben about hookups within the crew. Ben said, “I’m not a relationship yachtie guru. In my opinion, I liked being with Emily [Warburton-Adams] because it was a real relationship. I think other times, it was more lust.” He also confirmed that they are still in touch.

Then, Andy Cohen reminded Ben, “You and Kate Chastain had a little, mini thing at one point.” Ben just responded with “Yeah.”

Andy wondered if there was any chance of Ben and Kate “having something more.”

Ben responded, “I don’t know. She’s a really good friend and sometimes very good friends get very drunk and do unthinkable things together.”

Interestingly enough, Ben and Kate did hang out the night before. Did they do “unthinkable things together” again? Or did they just have dinner?

The conversation was fun until Andy asked, “Did you and Hannah ever have a thing?” Ben answered, “No, we didn’t, although she did try to rape me.” Oh no, Ben. Not in 2019. Not ever. That is NOT an acceptable thing to say. At all.

Andy was caught off guard and speechless. He began to say, “OK. The term rape is….” But, he never finished the sentence.  Eventually, Ben uttered, “Sorry.” But, he’s probably going to end up saying a lot more than that once his social media mentions start blowing up.

Andy corrected his phrasing: “She came onto you.” Ben adopted Andy’s words and said, “She came on to me. Very aggressively.” Roll back the tape, someone. Don’t worry, I got you. Here’s a Season 1 throwback.
