When it comes to the bad blood between LeeAnne Locken and D’Andra Simmons, it seems like everyone has an opinion!
Recently, Real Housewives of Dallas stars Stephanie Hollman and Kary Brittingham stopped by People to dish on their fellow ‘Wives friendship drama.
When asked by People Now host Andrea Boehlke whether D’Andra or LeeAnne was more in the wrong when it comes to their never-ending feud, newbie Kary opined that the situation is perhaps a tad more complicated than a simple matter of who’s right and who’s wrong.
Oh gosh,” Kary said during the interview. “I actually think that the two of them are so similar and, you know, they are just waiting for the other one to bow down. You know, and it’s not going to happen.”

Stephanie agreed with the rookie’s take on the former besties’ drama, admitting that there may be no resolution in sight as long as both famously stubborn ladies are sticking to their guns (and grudges).
“I think they both want to be right instead of reconciling,” she said. “So one person has to kind of put their ego aside and just be like, ‘Ok, you’re never going to give me what I want but let’s move forward’…which is super hard.”

For the uninitiated, (and seriously, if you’re still not watching RHOD, get on it! You’re missing out on one of the best and most sadly underrated franchises in the entire Housewives canon #DontSleeponDallas!), the decade-long friendship between LeeAnne and D’Andra unraveled during Season 3 of the show amidst accusations of cheating rumors (D’Andra), financial woes (LeeAnne) and alcohol problems (also LeeAnne).
In last week’s Season 4 premiere, Stephanie and BFF Brandi Redmond held an impromptu “Friendtervention” for their feuding cast mates to make up before LeeAnne‘s wedding and D’Andra‘s 50th birthday.

However, the feud arguably got worse when D’Andra revealed during the sit-down that LeeAnne‘s fiancé Rich Emberlin had threatened to go public with her husband Jeremy Lock‘s alleged affair with a woman named Jessica following the reunion. (For those keeping track, cheating accusations are now flying from both sides…)
Only time will tell whether D’Andra and LeeAnne‘s once-close friendship can get back on track, but it’s safe to say that the OG’s appearance at her former bestie’s birthday party next week is (hopefully!) a step in the right direction.
