Captain Lee Rosbach Shoulder Surgery

As invincible as Captain Lee Rosbach seems on Below Deck, he is still a human being at the end of the day. And, unfortunately, he too has aches and pains.

Recently, the Below Deck fan favorite revealed that he got surgery on his shoulder. Currently, he’s in recovery. Hopefully, he will be all healed up by the time Below Deck returns for Season 7 next month.

On September 4, Captain Lee posted a photo of himself leaning on his car (which has a “CAPT LEE” license plate, by the way). He told his followers, “See that shoulder I’m leaning on, going in tomorrow morning to get it fixed. Surgery’s at 6 AM. Can’t wait to have it back to normal and back in the gym full bore. Thanks Dr Levy. Rotator Cuff x 2 and bicep repair. All is good. Catch everyone on the flip side.”

A fan on Twitter asked, “do you think that full bore in the gym might have contributed to your tears?” In response, the captain said, “No probably going overboard did though. No doubt. Have to work smarter, not harder. Steep price to pay.” He also tweeted, “Mind says hell yah you got this, body says whoa just a sec sparky, not so fast. Have to recognize the body’s signal.”

He also revealed that he would be immobile for six weeks with physical therapy “limited to range of motion.”

The next day, he gave an update post-surgery. Captain Lee wrote, “Out of recovery and home. A little swelling but it went well. Thanks for the kind thoughts everyone, means the world to me. #recovery #rotatorcuff #biceps  #onthemend.”
