[Trailer] Toonami Adapting Junji Ito’s ‘Uzumaki’ for Four Episode Series in 2020

Toonami has announced tonight the newest anime series created in partnership with Production IG USA: Uzumaki, a four episode mini-series based on the supernatural horror manga by legendary author Junji Ito, will premiere on Toonami in 2020!

Directed by Hiroshi Nagahama, the series will feature music by Colin Stetson (Hereditary).

Written and illustrated by Ito, the original manga series told “the story of the citizens of Kurōzu-cho, a fictional city which is plagued by a supernatural curse involving spirals.”
