Pusha T has shared a new song featuring Ms. Lauryn Hill. The single, called “Coming Home,” is co-produced by Charlie Heat, Kanye West, and Mike Dean. Listen to “Coming Home” below (via G.O.O.D. Music/Def Jam Recordings).
Along with the new song, Pusha T has launched the “Third Strike Coming Home Campaign” with Brittany K. Barnett’s Buried Alive Project and MiAngel Cody’s The Decarceration Collective. According to a press release, “The initiative aims to free people serving life in prison today under yesterday’s outdated 3 Strikes Drug Law.”
“Coming Home” is Pusha T’s second single this week, following “Sociopath,” which Kanye West also produced. The singles arrive after last year’s Grammy-nominated DAYTONA.
Lauryn Hill last shared “Rebel/I Find It Hard to Say (Version)” (an updated edition of “I Find It Hard to Say (Rebel)”) in 2016. The previous year, she covered “A Christmas in Bethlehem” and several Nina Simone songs. In 2014, Lauryn Hill shared “Black Rage (Sketch).”
