Nine Inch NailsTrent Reznor and Atticus Ross are teaming up for another film score…but this time, it’s for Pixar, as Variety points out. The Disney-owned animation studio responsible for classics like the Toy Story franchise, A Bug’s Life, and Wally recently announced a new movie called Soul, which includes a voice cast of Questlove, Jamie Foxx, Tina Fey, Daveed Diggs, and others.

Reznor and Ross have scored multiple films in the past, including David Fincher’s Gone Girl and The Social Network (for which they won a Best Original Score Oscar), Jonah Hill’s Mid90s, Bird Box, and more.

Soul is directed by Pixar’s chief creative officer Pete Docter. Docter served as director on 2009’s Up and 2015’s Inside Out. According to Variety, the film focuses on a music teacher (Foxx) who must do some existential searching before achieving his dream of playing New York jazz club The Blue Note. The film is slated for release on June 19, 2020.
