Report: Leah McSweeney Replacing Bethenny Frankel On Real Housewives Of York

Bethenny Frankel Stans and haters were both caught off guard when she announced her departure from Real Housewives of New York– mere hours before shooting Season 12 began. Ramona Singer even claimed that she and the RHONY women had no idea Bethenny quit until the news hit the media.

Now, there are already reports about Bethenny’s replacement about a new cast member.

Some “inside course” told Entertainment Weekly that Leah McSweeney will be a part of RHONY Season 12. The website reported that Leah is on the younger side at age 36 and that she would join as a friend of Tinsley Mortimer’s.

The source told Entertainment Weekly, “Leah is a friend of Tinsley’s and the two have already filmed a workout scene together.” Ugh, a workout scene. Is it possible to cut out the workout classes and glam squad sessions on Real Housewives shows? No one cares.

Getting back to Leah, she is “a mother, entrepreneur, and the founder of street wear brand Married to the Mob,” which I am not at all familiar with. No shade.

It hasn’t been confirmed if Leah is a definite part of the cast since Bravo doesn’t comment on casting. It’s also uncertain if Leah would just take Bethenny’s full-time spot or be credited as a Friend of the Housewives like Barbara Kavovit was last season.
