Nothing Underneath is celebrating its 40th anniversary with new editions of the film and its soundtrack from Rustblade Records in association with MVD.

Also known as Sotto il vestito niente, the 1985 Italian giallo film has been newly restored in high definition for a Blu-ray and DVD release on July 29.

The soundtrack, composed by Pino Donaggio (Carrie, Don’t Look Now), hits vinyl and CD on July 25. The album is pressed on Red Blood Marble colored vinyl, limited to 499.

A set containing the Blu-ray, CD, and postcards is limited to 300, while the deluxe edition with the Blu-ray, CD, vinyl, postcards, book, Polaroid, poster, and underwear is limited to 100.

In the film, a killer is roaming the streets of Milan using scissors to murder top models. A U.S. Park Ranger arrives in the city to protect his twin sister, only to realize she has disappeared.

Carlo Vanzina directs from a script he co-wrote with Franco Ferrini (Phenomena, Demons) and Enrico Vanzina, based on the novel by Marco Parma.

Halloween‘s Donald Pleasence stars alongside Tom Schanley, Renée Simonsen, Nicola Perring, Marie McDonald, Catherine Noyes, and Paolo Tomei.
