Alix Earle Breaks Silence on Her Podcast Getting Dropped by Alex Cooper’s Company
Alex Cooper is nipping this rumor in the bud.
After Alix Earle told her followers she “can’t” podcast for unexplained reasons following her departure from Cooper’s Unwell network, the Call Her Daddy host cleared up speculation that she has anything to do with it.
“Hi I see ur comments,” Cooper wrote in a March 26 Instagram Story post. “Alix not being able to podcast has nothing to do with Unwell. Idk why she can’t/what’s going on. Unwell gave her everything back she owns her IP.”
And the 30-year-old alluded to her own 2021 departure from Barstool Sports, tagging its founder Dave Portnoy and adding, “Learned from the best.”
Indeed, following Earle’s Feb. 25 drop from Unwell, a spokesperson from SiriusXM told Variety that the network “renounced all rights” to Hot Mess.
Cooper’s statement came just a few hours after Earle told followers she is unable to continue her show elsewhere for unexplained reasons.
