Adam Brody on the Possibility of The O.C. REBOOT

Adam Brody renaissance, here we come.

And Peter Gallagher—who played Adam’s dad Sandy Cohen on The O.C. during the early aughts—is all for it after all the buzz from the 44-year-old’s performance in the recently-released Netflix series Nobody Wants This.

“I wouldn’t go as far as being a proud dad,” he quipped to People in an interview published Oct. 24, “and I haven’t seen the show, but I’m proud of him all the time as his friend and former TV dad.”

Peter added that he’s “not surprised” Adam is stealing hearts once again—this time as the rabbi heartthrob Noah Roklov, as opposed to the socially awkward high schooler Seth Cohen from Orange County.

“He’s so talented,” the 69-year-old added, “and I’m glad he’s still doing his thing.”

But Peter isn’t the only O.C. alum still cheering on Adam years after the Californian sun set on the teen drama. As Rachel Bilson recently noted, the Adam Brody renaissance has “always been there.”
