VR fans and fans of 4A Games’ Metro series will get the best of both worlds on November 7 when Vertigo Games releases Metro Awakening for PlayStation VR2, Steam VR, Quest 2, and Quest 3. The announcement comes with a new trailer, which debuted during Sony’s recent State of Play.

A story-driven first person adventure built for VR that blends atmospheric exploration, stealth and combat, Metro Awakening takes place in the year 2028. The survivors of nuclear Armageddon cling to existence in the subways beneath Moscow. You are Serdar, a doctor braving the darkness, crippling radiation and deadly threats of the Metro in the search for your wife and the medication she so desperately needs. As your courage and sanity are pushed to the limit you must learn to walk the line between life and death, as well as the spirit and the material world.
