Music

Rahim Redcar, the artist formerly known as Christine and the Queens has announced a new album: Hopecore, will arrive in a week, on September 27. Listen to a single, “Deep Holes,” below.

Redcar said in a press release, “Hopecore was made with tears, blood, and mostly an unwavering faith in the raw, pure expression of the soul. Music took here its full prophetic vastness, got wilder, and called for an absolute quest where no one else came in to tamper with intentions. A call of the flesh, a prayer for justice and freedom.” A series of live performances in clubs will be announced soon, the press release notes.

Hopecore follows 2022’s Redcar les adorables étoiles (prologue) and 2023’s Paranoïa, Angels, True Love.

Hopecore:

01 Forgive 8888888
02 Elevate
03 Ins8de of Me
04 Deep Holes
05 Red Birdman Emergency
06 Opera – I Understand
07 Manuela Danse
