2024 Emmys: Pommel Horse Hero Stephen Nedoroscik Sets the Bar High With Girlfriend Tess McCracken

Stephen Nedoroscik knows how to give the performance of a lifetime.

At the 2024 Emmys, the Team USA gymnast was caught doing the same pre-show ritual he used at the Paris Olympics to prepare for his presenting duties during the Sept. 15 awards ceremony.

In a photo shared to Instagram by actress Katie Asleton Sept. 16, Stephen—clad in a classic black suit and bowtie—was seen reclining in his chair with his eyes closed just before taking the stage to present the award for Outstanding Direction of a Drama Series alongside fellow Olympians Ilona Maher, Caleb Dressel and Ezra French. Alongside the image, the League alum added the caption, “Caught @stephen_nedoroscik right before he went onstage at the @televisionacad to present an emmy!”

And the hilarious snap called to mind another viral moment from the athlete. Back in August, Stephen was spotted adopting a similar eyes-closed routine while preparing to compete in his only event at the 2024 Games, the men’s pommel horse competition.
