Brittany Cartwright is completely pumping the brakes on her relationship with Jax Taylor.
Six months after The Valley stars announced their separation, Brittany filed for divorce from her husband of five years, according to court documents obtained by E! News.
The 35-year-old said in her filing that she and Jax had been separated since Jan. 24 and listed her reason as “irreconcilable differences.” She also requested primary legal and physical custody of their son Cruz, 3, and for Jax to be granted child visitation.
She also asked to terminate the court’s ability to award spousal support to her or Jax, 45.
E! News has reached out to reps for Brittany and Jax and has not heard back.
Since announcing their separation in February, the Vanderpump Rules alums, who tied the knot in 2019, have been moving on with their lives—and that includes dating other people.
“We said that, going into this, that we could test the waters with other people if we wanted to,” Brittany explained to E! News in June. “I know that seems weird, it might be a little crazy for a lot of people, but that’s what we wanted to do.”
