The star of the films Scare Package and Scare Package 2: Rad Chad’s Revenge, Rad Chad Buckley himself (Jeremy King), is finally following in the footsteps of his Creature Feature heroes (and family members) and hosting his own horror movie series!

In the spirit of Joe Bob Briggs’ The Last Drive-In, Chad recommends horror short films – largely in the horror-comedy vein of the Scare Package anthologies’ segments – showing them in full and giving his reaction, unique awards to the films, and getting into additional shenanigans as he tries running a one-man YouTube show.

On the series’ debut installment, the owner and proprietor of Rad Chad’s Horror Emporium shares THE BLOODY BALLAD OF SQUIRT REYNOLDS, a gnarly horror short film from director Anthony Cousins (Frogman), a Scare Package alum himself!

Episode 2, which releases this week, will see Chad recommending the blood-soaked horror short INVADERS from director Jason Kupfer!

Stay tuned for that and additional new episodes of “Rad Chad’s Rad Recommendations” releasing monthly, exclusively on Paper Street Pictures’ official YouTube channel.

Scare Package producer and co-creator Cameron Burns tells Bloody Disgusting, “The Scare Package fans have been so good to us, and working within that world is such a joy, that when people asked for more Rad Chad Buckley, we were happy to oblige.”

“And what better way to show love to Shudder, The Last Drive-In, Joe Bob Briggs, and his Mutant Family than by having Chad follow in his “papa’s” footsteps and stumble his way through hosting a horror series of his own, as only he can,” Burns adds.
