Julien Baker Announces 2024 Solo Tour

Music

Julien Baker has announced a solo tour that takes place later this fall. Beginning with a three-night run at Thalia Hall in Chicago, Baker will perform in Washington, D.C., Toronto, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and London. Along the way, she’ll also play at All Things Go Music Festival. Check out her complete list of tour dates below.

After the release of her third album, Little Oblivions, in 2021, Baker went on to perform on several late night TV shows. That record included a mini reunion with her Boygenius bandmates Lucy Dacus and Phoebe Bridgers on the song “Favor.” Baker then followed it up with 2022’s B-Sides EP and the song “Milkman of Human Kindness” for the benefit compilation Through the Soil II.

Last year, Baker, Bridgers, and Dacus reunited as Boygenius for their debut album, The Record, and toured extensively behind it, including a sold-out headlining gig at Madison Square Garden. Boygenius went on to win Best Alternative Music Album for The Record at the 2024 Grammy Awards, as well as Best Rock Song and Best Rock Performance for “Not Strong Enough.” That same evening, the trio told ex-Grammys CEO Neil Portnow to “rot in piss.” In February, Boygenius announced they’re going on hiatus.
