UK retailer ASOS launches LGBTQIA+ Pride collection for 2024

ASOS, the destination for fashion-loving 20-somethings, has launched an exclusive clothing collection in collaboration with four LGBTQIA+ artists to celebrate Pride, with the goal of platforming queer creatives and shining a light on under-represented voices.

Comprising over 30 products, ranging from t-shirts, hoodies and socks, the collection is catered to all genders for customers to wear at Pride and beyond. Central to the products are the colourful and bold, exclusive designs that speak to the LGBTQIA+ community and reflect the multitude of queer lived experiences and aesthetics.

ASOS has launched an exclusive collection in collaboration with four LGBTQIA+ artists, offering over 30 products designed for all genders.
The collection, which includes t-shirts, hoodies, and socks, has designs that celebrate the diversity and creativity of the LGBTQIA+ community.
All profits will suport Just Like Us, a charity working to improve the lives.

The artists, who have been involved throughout the entire project, include:

  1. Ashton Attzs (she/they), a UK-based illustrator and painter. Her paintings and digital illustrations are colourful and vibrant celebrations of everyday life.
  2. Erik Carnell (he/him), a gay trans man who uses a pastel colour palette to create art which he describes as ‘Pride and Gloom’.
  3. Theodoor Grimes (they/he) a Black non-binary digital artist based in the Bronx. Inspired by graphic novels and manga, Theodoor’s illustrations are full of incredible detail, lush colour, and texture, all dedicated to uplifting people and centring the queer experience.
  4. Tommy Burley (they/he/she) a trans tattoo artist based in Brighton and London. Tommy’s work is best described as traditional fine-line realism with a chrome, queer twist.

Vanessa Spence, Executive Vice President of Creative at ASOS said: “Our purpose is to give our customers the confidence to be whoever you want to be, and we’re proud to be launching another Pride collaboration this year, with a collection that celebrates diversity, self-expression, and queer joy by collaborating with LGBTQIA+ artists.”

All profits from the collection will go to Just Like Us, the LGBT+ young people’s charity, who work to create safer and more inclusive environments for LGBTQIA+ young people.
