US’ Converse introduces chuck taylor play lite CX for kids

Converse is introducing its first lightweight, slip-on shoe for kids with the Chuck Taylor All Star Play Lite CX. For the first time, Converse’s CX foam cushioning arrives in a kid-friendly silhouette that combines all-day comfort and easy on-off, helping ensure more time for play and less time for lacing up.

Converse intentionally designed the shoe with durable, full-foot coverage, making it wearable from school to the playground to outdoor adventures and beyond. Strategically placed circular vent holes in the silhouette’s upper help little toes breathe, while the upper’s low cut and open design allows kids to easily slide their foot in and go. The Chuck Taylor All Star Play Lite CX is also simple to clean with water.

The shoe debuts in three vibrant colorways, including Dandy Lion, Fuchsia and Obsidian. Additional marbleized colorways arrive in April 2024.

Converse’s Chuck Taylor All Star Play Lite CX is not only durable and convenient but also prioritizes comfort with its CX foam cushioning, making it perfect for kids’ active lifestyles.
Available in vibrant color options, it encourages self-expression and play.
Released on March 1, it’s the ideal choice for kids who want style and functionality in their footwear.

The Chuck Taylor All Star Play Lite CX releases March 1 on Converse.com and at select retailers.
