Ariana Grande has recruited the inimitable Mariah Carey for a new version of “Yes, And?” The singers had previously connected in 2020 for “Oh Santa!” Listen to their new song below.
Ahead of the new remix’s release, Grande wrote online, “there truly are no words that suffice. thank you from the bottom of my heart for this dream come true and for sprinkling your brilliance and magic on my little song @mariahcarey. it means more to me than i could ever possibly articulate and i cannot wait for everyone to hear this ! i love you eternally !!!!!!! 𖦹 ☼ ⋆。˚⋆ฺ.”
In response, Carey commented, “Darling angel, I am so effing excited to be joining you on the yes, and? remix!! This is such a magical moment!! Love you ❤️ MC.”
“Yes, And?” is the lead single from Grande’s Eternal Sunshine. The new album, and Positions follow-up, is out March 8 via Republic.
Mariah Carey was recently nominated for induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. She’s not released a new studio album since November 2018’s Caution.
