Shudder aims to kick the new year off with rockin’ splatter-comedy Destroy All Neighbors, starring Alex Winter and Jonah Ray Rodrigues. Bloody Disgusting can exclusively unveil the new poster that promises a head banging, gory good time.

Look for Destroy All Neighbors next month, when it releases on Shudder on January 12, 2024.

In the film, “William Brown (Jonah Ray Rodrigues), a neurotic, self-absorbed musician determined to finish his prog-rock magnum opus, faces a creative roadblock in the form of a noisy and grotesque neighbor named Vlad (Alex Winter). Finally working up the nerve to demand that Vlad keep it down, William inadvertently decapitates him. But, while attempting to cover up one murder, William’s accidental reign of terror causes victims to pile up and become undead corpses who torment and create more bloody detours on his road to prog-rock Valhalla.”

The horror movie is described as “a twisted splatter-comedy about a deranged journey of self-discovery full of goopy practical FX, a well-known ensemble cast, and LOTS of blood.” In other words, a magical combination of words to get us amped.

Check out the poster below for a glimpse at some of the prog-rock carnage ahead.

Contracted: Phase II‘s Josh Forbes directed Destroy All Neighbors from a screenplay by Charles Pieper and Jared Logan, with story by Pieper and Mike Benner.

Kiran Deol stars alongside Winter and Rodrigues.

While most movie fans remember Winter for his excellent role in the Bill & Ted trilogy, horror fans celebrate the for his role in The Lost Boys and as the director of the cult classic Freaked. Rodrigues has also quickly become a horror stalwart, having recently appeared in Suitable Flesh, Satanic Hispanics, and last year’s Christmas Bloody Christmas.

“We’re thrilled to be working with Shudder and RLJE on this labor of love,” Winter told Deadline previously. “Our film is a return to the kind of physical effects-driven genre comedy that’s all too rare these days.”

Luckily we don’t have too long to wait to see what kind of gory practical effects and fun is in store.
