During their show at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl this past Friday (October 6), Incubus brought out Lizzo to sing and play flute on “Aqueous Transmission.” The show celebrated the 23rd anniversary of Morning View, which the band just released a re-recorded of. Watch a fan-captured video of the moment below.

This isn’t the first time Incubus have invited a popular female musician onstage to sing “Aqueous Transmission” with them. Back in 2017, Solange joined Brandon Boyd for a duet of the same song during their headlining show in New Orleans.

This was one of the few times Lizzo has appeared in public following legal troubles this summer. In August, Lizzo was sued by three former dancers for sexual harassment and creating a hostile work environment. The pop star called the allegations “as unbelievable as they sound and too outrageous to not be addressed” in  a statement on social media, and then issued a formal denial in court. In a new lawsuit last month, a different former employee who worked in Lizzo’s wardrobe department on tour claimed that she was sometimes refused breaks during 20-hour shifts, and that she overheard racist and fatphobic comments from members of her team.
