Love is… combative?
“Love Is Blind” star Stacy Snyder called her co-star Johnie Maraist a “s–t person” during a heated argument after the cast reunited for an event outside of the pods.
In a sneak peek clip of a forthcoming episode from Season 5 of the hit show, things got heated between Snyder and Maraist while they were discussing their connections with Izzy Zapata in the pods.
“I think you’re deceitful,” Maraist told Snyder, adding that she never told her that Zapata, 31, was “one of her strongest connections” in the pods.
Snyder snapped back, “Johnie, what do I owe to you? I don’t trust you. Honestly, if you knew it was me, you would’ve acted completely different with him.”
Maraist, 32, said she believes Snyder, 34, is “deceitful” because she “acted differently” with Zapata based on his short-lived romance with the lawyer in the pods.
However, Snyder, who works as a director of operations, said that she has “always been the same person” throughout this process.
“I shed tears for you knowing that you were going to get rejected,” Snyder, whom Zapata proposed to in the pods, said. “I had empathy for you. That’s why I’m so fired up because you’re a s–t person. And I feel bad for shedding a damn tear for you.”
After Snyder doubled down on her opinion, their co-star Christopher Fox defended Maraist, saying that she was “not a s—-y person.”

In the pods, Maraist formed a connection with Fox, 28, and Zapata. She chose to pursue the latter as her strongest connection.
However, Zapata told her that he had a stronger connection elsewhere and he later proposed to Snyder.
Maraist tried to salvage her romance with Fox, but he ultimately stopped their relationship from moving further after hearing that she told him and Zapata conflicting things.
Fox and Maraist have since reconnected outside the pods and he recently spoke exclusively to Page Six about why he ultimately gave her another chance.
“We ended up seeing each other at the airport, which was an incredible experience,” he told us. “And it’s it’s not something you want to pass up. You don’t you don’t pass that up. For her trying to make the best choice for herself. And I hold nothing against her.”
Fox, who works as a project manager for commercial and retail development, also told Page Six what was going through his head when Snyder confronted Maraist at the party.
“I trust Johnie 100 percent,” he said. “And if Izzy and Stacy feel like they need to get something off their chest, then they’re free to say it. But. I’m here listening to Johnie, and she’s the only word that matters.”
The next few episodes of “Love Is Blind” Season 5 drop Friday.
