‘Teen Mom’ Jenelle Evans’ 14-year-old son missing for the third time in two months: report

Reality TV

Jenelle Evans’ teen son, Jace, has reportedly gone missing again for the third time in two months.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ Friday that the 14-year-old allegedly escaped his house from a window and police were called to the “Teen Mom” star’s home at around 8 p.m. local time Thursday.

He reportedly snuck out without a cell phone on him.

Per TMZ, Evans’ house is surrounded by woods, adding to the concern for Jace’s safety.

The teen has reportedly been missing for at least 16 hours and police have added him to the nationwide database for missing persons.

Page Six has reached out to the authorities for comment but did not immediately hear back.

Meanwhile, Evans has been posting on social media as usual and has not disclosed to her followers that her eldest son is missing.

However, the reality star has hinted that she is going through a difficult time, sharing in one Instagram Story Thursday that a YouTube video she planned to post will have to be delayed, writing along with it, “#SadGirlEnergy.”

Evans, who has two other children — Kaiser Orion, 9, with ex-boyfriend Nathan Griffith and daughter Ensley Jolie, 6, with husband David Eason — then posted a photo of her second son on Friday.

She shared he had a “sinus infection” but again made no mention of Jace.

Evans has not posted about Jace going missing on social media but wrote in one post, “#SadGirlEnergy.

Evans’ most recent Instagram Story is a photo of a sandwich and a pickle she posted Friday, which she captioned, “Trying to eat but damn … #StressyAndDepressy.”

Page Six has reached out to her reps for comment but did not immediately hear back.

Evans perhaps isn’t panicking since Jace has run away from home twice before.

He first went missing in August and was found safe hours later.

Evans blamed his disappearance on teenage angst, telling TMZ at the time, “As a boy mom, kids can act up and rebel as I’m sure the majority of us all once did as kids too.

“Jace, got in trouble at school, we decided to take his phone away and that’s when he decided to run off, Jace is a good kid and we’re not dealing with anything that most families don’t deal with while raising children.”

In late August, Evans reported Jace missing a second time after she had not heard from him for several hours.

After he was located at a gas station near the family’s home, the MTV star hinted via a TikTok video that the reason her son kept fleeing was because she had taken his phone away and sometimes kids “don’t take that too lightly.”

Evans regained custody of Jace in March after 13 years.

Evans regained custody of Jace in March after not having parental rights over him for 13 years.

Her mother, Barbara Evans, was awarded custody of Jenell’s eldest child when he was just 1 in 2010.

The drama that ensued between the mother-daughter duo was captured on MTV’s “16 and Pregnant” and its “Teen Mom” spinoffs.
