Kelly Bensimon became close friends with Dorinda Medley while filming “The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip” – despite some of their co-stars shading Medley beforehand.
“Everyone told me to be aware of Dorinda [and] to, like, watch out for her,” the reality star told Page Six Wednesday at a Dance Body event at the Empire State Building.
The “Real Housewives of New York City” alum also claimed that her unnamed co-stars told her there was an “AM and PM Dorinda,” seemingly referring to Medley’s famous drunken nights and arguments.
Despite the warning signs, Bensimon forged a friendship with Medley and told us she’s “just crazy” about her now.
“Dorinda is unbelievable,” she gushed. “She’s such a loyal and incredible friend, and I love her so much. We really, really bonded, and I’m just crazy about her.”
The Bravolebrity, 55, and Medley, 58, starred alongside other past “RHONY” fan favorites – Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan, Luann de Lesseps and Kristen Taekman – for Season 4 of “RHUGT” at Saline Beach in St. Barts.
Can’t get enough ‘Real Housewives?’
Bensimon shared that the women have all been going to a studio to film their confessionals. The new season is set to air in December after Caroline Manzo and Brandi Glanville’s season was postponed over a controversial touching incident.
“We’re all really excited about [it]. I’m really nervous about [it], because we were expecting it to air next spring,” Bensimon admitted.
Bensimon added that there’s still “so much drama” to unpack and described the experience as “girls gone absolutely wild.”
“It’s amazing, literally amazing,” she teased. “Best trip of my life.”
Prior to the women jetting off to the luxurious location, Singer shaded Taekman when she said she “forgot” about her during a live taping of Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast in May.
Taekman later told Page Six that she and Singer had a “private phone conversation” beforehand, so they were “good” before flying off to film in June.
“She apologized. She called me and she apologized, so that made me feel better going into it because … she said what she said and I said what I said,” Taekman spilled at Jill Zarin’s annual Luxury Luncheon in August.
“And I think it was nice. So we went in with that being cleared, which is good.”
Peacock has not released an official premiere date for “The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: RHONY Legacy.”
