Kyle Richards may have just dropped a subtle hint about what potentially led to her split from Mauricio Umansky.
The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star recently “liked” a quote on Instagram about the “pain” of being “ignored” by a close loved one.
“Psychology says: When you are ignored by a person whose attention means the most to you, the reaction in your brain will be similar to physical pain,” read the post, which Richards, 54, double tapped.
Social media users were quick to weigh in on the seemingly telling gesture, with many drawing conclusions about Richards and Umansky’s potential relationship troubles behind closed doors.
“Nothing wrong with wanting to have your partner give you attention and meet your needs, when your love language is undivided attention and genuine connection,” one person commented beneath @bravosnarkside’s post.
“When you are married for a long time, life gets busy with kids, business etc. Your spouse may feel like they are not prioritized.”
Someone else added, “Esp from Mauricio so her looking for attention from a gf I bet means he’s been ignoring her for awhile now,” which was followed by another sleuth who wondered, “Is that why she’s seeking attention from Morgan [Wade]?”
A fourth netizen pointed out, “There have been rumours for years of Mo stepping out on their marriage so I’m sure Kyle has had a lot of lonely nights.”
Page Six confirmed in July that Richards and the “Buying Beverly Hills” star, 53, had separated.
The pair addressed their breakup in a joint statement shortly after, admitting that they “have had a rough year.” They called it “the most challenging one” of their 27-year marriage.
However, they insisted that “there has been no wrongdoing on anyone’s part.”
The duo asked “to be able to work through [their] issues privately” without the creation of “false stories to fit a further salacious narrative.”
Though Richards and the luxury real estate broker have continued to put on a united front as co-parents and friends, the Bravolebrity recently admitted that their separation “has been very hard” on her.
“We care about each other a lot,” she made sure to note.
Though each has remained tight-lipped about what prompted them to go their separate ways romantically, fans have theorized that Richards’ close relationship with country singer Morgan Wade may have contributed to the breakup.
Though the actress and the musician, 28, have been getting to know each other since long before the former’s split from Umansky made headlines, they’ve only gotten closer in recent weeks.
In fact, they twosome was recently caught looking “very intimate” while grabbing coffee in Paris, where an eyewitness observed them engaging in lots of “playful touching.”

Not only do Richards and Wade have matching tattoos, but they also wear matching rings.
Plus, the brunette beauty played the Virginia native’s love interest in her music video for “Fall in Love with Me,” which showed them getting hot and heavy before nearly sharing a passionate kiss.
Still, the ladies continue to deny dating rumors and insist that their relationship is purely platonic.
Meanwhile, Umansky claims he has nothing but “love” for Wade, whom he recently called “great.”
The former couple share daughters Alexia, 27, Sophia, 23, and Portia, 15, while Richards is also mom to 34-year-old Farrah Aldjufrie, who seems to be going through her own breakup.
