Shep Rose found it “flattering” when new “Real Housewives of New York City” star Brynn Whitfield said he was “cute” but admitted he’s hesitant to date a fellow Bravolebrity – again.
“When I saw that, I thought it was very flattering,” he exclusively tells Page Six of when Whitfield revealed her crush in July.
The “Southern Charm” star messaged the marketing consultant on Instagram after her confession and the two had a brief back-and-forth chat.
“I sent her a nice message — a very benign nice message — ‘Thank you, look forward to meeting you,’ and she’s like, ‘Yeah, me too,’” Rose spills.
After a few more messages about where each other lived, the “RelationShep” alum tells us he told her, “I’ll let you know if I’m in town, otherwise I’ll see you at BravoCon.”
The annual convention, which features hundreds of Bravolebrities, is set to place in Las Vegas from Nov. 3 to 5.
“Take her to a buffet in Vegas!” suggests “Southern Charm” newbie Rodrigo Reyes, to which Rose laughs and shrugs.
Rose — whose ex Taylor Ann Green now stars alongside him on the hit Bravo show — adds that he’s not “terribly” inclined to date another Bravolebrity but says fans “won’t find me flaunting any relationships” anytime soon.
“But never say never — should I go for it?” Rose asks Reyes while laughing and putting his hands over his face. “Oh my God, I wonder what my mom would say if I dated a ‘Real Housewife!’”

Rose, 43, and Whitfield, 36, began having a flirty relationship when she admitted she thought the Shep Gear owner was “cute” on a July episode of “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.”
Shortly afterward, Rose commented that the yoga instructor’s remarks were “certainly nice to hear” and he thanked Whitfield for “thinking of me.”
A month later, Whitfield appeared on a second episode of “WWHL,” where she confirmed that Rose had reached out.
“He’s very sweet. He’s very smart. Very sweet, yeah,” she said. “And it’s all PG. It’s, like, about philosophy and dogs — our favorite subjects.”
Season 9 of “Southern Charm” premieres with a supersized episode Thursday, Sept. 14, at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo. Episodes will be available to stream the next day on Peacock.
