Leva Bonaparte says being called “boring” by former “Southern Charm” star Thomas Ravenel is actually a compliment.
“I was taught to respect my elders and like I just don’t really have that much to say I mean he’s a 60-year-old man, I’m glad he’s tuning in,” Bonaparte, 44, tells Page Six of her reaction the diss.
She adds, “I don’t know what the deal is. I don’t know if he’s just bored? I find that it’s a compliment if Thomas finds me boring, because I wouldn’t really wanna be the type of person he find interesting or fun.”
Bonaparte says that she found it “funny that he still tunes in” even after his “ship has sailed” on the show when Ravenel, 61, was fired in 2018 after he pleaded guilty to assault and battery.
Ravenel wrote in a since-deleted tweet on Sept. 2 that he “just watched” the newest season of the hit Bravo show and “can’t believe the most boring person on there is still Leva.”
It didn’t take long for Bonaparte to acknowledge how “odd” it is for Ravenel to “keep going after women.”

“No point in listing what made him great TV, that would be a little much,” she wrote in part under Page Six’s Instagram post about Ravenel’s comments.
Bonaparte didn’t specify what she was referring to, but Ravenel has faced several controversies over the years – including him admitting to trying to kiss his children’s former nanny in 2019.
Ravenel was also sentenced to ten months in federal prison after he pleaded guilty to federal cocaine distribution charges in 2007.
His tumultuous relationship with former cast member and mother to his children, Kathryn Dennis, also played out over the years and resulted in a messy custody battle. He has since allegedly been granted primary custody.
Season 9 of “Southern Charm” premieres with a supersized episode Thursday, Sept. 14, at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo. Episodes will be available to stream the next day on Peacock.
