Tomorrow X Together and Kelsea Ballerini are also set to perform at the Newark event
Another batch of performers has been announced for the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards. Lil Wayne is set to perform his new single “Kat Food” (which is out September 1) for the first time on the show. Doja Cat, Anitta, Tomorrow X Together, and Kelsea Ballerini are also set to perform.
Those performers join a lineup that includes Demi Lovato, Karol G, Måneskin, and Stray Kids. Shakira is set to perform as this year’s Video Vanguard Award honoree. The nominees this year are led by Taylor Swift, SZA, and Olivia Rodrigo.
Doja Cat, who is releasing Scarlet on September 22, performed at the VMAs in 2020 and 2021. She also hosted in the latter year. Revisit “The 7 Best and Worst Parts of the 2021 MTV VMAs” on the Pitch.
