She may be an expert on luxury, but it looks like she actually can’t always spot a fake.
Kyle Richards claimed it was actually her friend and Hermès executive, Michael Coste, who incorrectly edited a photo she posted.
“This picture was sent to me by Michael and I didn’t look before I posted it. He admittedly does this to all of his photos. This isn’t news worthy [sic]. Pretty sure people are as bored by this as I am,” she commented under Page Six’s Instagram Reel about the original post.
The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star addressed the Photoshop fail after deleting her first post with Coste that showed her arm and shirt sleeve blurred together with the color of the beige wall behind her poking through.
It didn’t take long for fans to call her out for the editing mishap – especially since Coste shared a clear version of the photo that showcased Richards’ softened arms on Monday.
Richards, 54, later reposted Coste’s photo – sans the blur – and wrote, “Always love seeing you and laughing together @michaelcostefr.”
The Bravolebrity initially gushed about meeting with her pal, writing that he is “always” her “first stop” when she travels to Paris.
Can’t get enough ‘Real Housewives?’
While several social media users questioned why Richards made the “picture so Photoshopped,” others suggested that someone else may have edited it and she may have not totally noticed before posting.
“Why would she post this it’s so obvious how did she not realize lol,” one person argued.
“God bless the person who edited this picture has left smudges on her top and arms,” someone else suggested.
“Did she have an accident ?” another user asked.
Richards joins a slew of other “Real Housewives” star – namely, Teresa Giudice – who have faced scrutiny from fans over their Photoshop fails.
