90 Day Fiancé and Spin Offs Ranked From Worst To Best

Reality TV

The 90 Day Fiancé franchise has been delivering new spin offs left and right, since the debut of the original show in 2014. While some spin offs have been a huge hit with viewers, others have been more negatively received. These are the nine most mainstream spin offs ranked from worst to best, along with the original show, of course.

90 Day Fiancé UK

Although the concept for 90 Day Fiancé UK was clever, the series ultimately fell short of what fans had hoped for. The premise is exactly the same as the original show, just taking place in the United Kingdom as opposed to America.

While many of the couples on 90 Day Fiancé UK were likable, the spin off just lacked the drama and chaos that make many of the other spin-offs so enticing.

After The 90 Days – Loren & Alexei, David & Annie

TLC/YouTube

After Loren Brovarnik and her husband Alexei Brovarnik became fan favorites, TLC gave the couple their own spin off titled Loren & Alexei: After The 90 Days. David Toborowsky and his wife Annie Suwan were granted an almost identical show, David & Annie: After The 90 Days.

While there is nothing wrong with either of these spin-offs, they lack drama similarly to 90 Day Fiancé UK, making them boring to many viewers.

Darcey & Stacey

TLC/YouTube

Darcey & Stacey has kept viewers up to date with the lives of Darcey Silva and her twin sister Stacey Silva for four seasons now, however, some fans have mixed feelings on the spin off.

While it is interesting to learn more about Stacey, many of Darcey’s storylines feel annoying and repetitive. Darcey has notoriously struggled in the dating field, although viewers are beginning to grow tired of watching her pursue similar men to no avail.

90 Day: Love In Paradise

TLC/YouTube

90 Day: Love In Paradise was a spin off many viewers originally felt unsure about, however, it has come to prove itself over time.

While Love In Paradise started off slow, the series drew attention after controversial couple Daniele Gates and Yohan Geronimo were featured. The recent Season 3 also became popular after Pedro Jimeno‘s mother Lidia Morel pursued a relationship with American man Scott Wern.

90 Day Fiancé

The original 90 Day Fiancé show had a great run at first, however the OG show has lost its charm in recent years. Season 8 featured an annoying cast, but was nowhere near as tedious as the recent Season 9.

The OG show follows couples as one partner moves to America from another country to start a new life. However, many of these stories have become less interesting than those featured recently on several of the 90 Day Fiancé franchise spin offs.

The Family Chantel

TLC/YouTube

The Family Chantel is arguably the best spin off dedicated to a certain set of cast members, of course being Pedro and his ex Chantel Everett, along with her iconic family.

While Pedro and Chantel had a tumultuous relationship, much of their storyline focused around Pedro’s relationship with the latter’s family. Chantel’s parents and siblings really helped to turn the spin off into what it is, as their drama and chaos is addicting to watch.

90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days

TLC/YouTube

90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days was one of the first spin offs of the original show, which traditionally follows couples before they apply for the K1 visa. The spin off often follows the American partner traveling overseas to meet their foreign lover for the first time, which is very entertaining to watch.

While Before The 90 Days has featured many likable cast members, some viewers feel frustrated with the spin off’s low success rates.

90 Day: The Single Life

TLC/YouTube

90 Day: The Single Life is one of the best 90 Day Fiancé spin offs. It follows single cast members as they embark on new journeys of love.

The Single Life has featured many iconic cast members including Danielle Mullins, Natalie Mordovtseva, and Debbie Johnson, who have truly made the show great. It’s fun to see cast members go outside of their comfort zones, especially those who did not have great relationships their first time on the show.

90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?

TLC/YouTube

90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? is the second-best spin off of the 90 Day Fiancé franchise, that really reels viewers in with the drama.

Happily Ever After? follows couples from previous seasons as they navigate married life, although fans know that their storylines are often anything but happy. Happily Ever After? is one of the most likable spin offs since it features cast members viewers are familiar with, so many feel more enticed to watch.

90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way

TLC/YouTube

90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way is the best franchise spin off by far, as it doesn’t get much better than watching naive Americans face cultural shock after moving across the world for love.

The Other Way Season 5 recently premiered, and is already shaping up to be one of the best seasons in recent 90 Day Fiancé history with a likable, yet chaotic cast. Furthermore, The Other Way tends to be one of the more dramatic franchise shows, which viewers are always happy to hear!
