Despite being heavily featured on season 4 of “Vanderpump Rules,” Brittany Cartwright says her bank account didn’t reflect that whatsoever.

The Bravolebrity, who hails from Kentucky, joined the cast of the hit reality show in 2015 and stayed on until 2020.

“I didn’t get paid my first season of Vanderpump Rules — until the very, very end. I was broke,” the 34-year-old said Friday on her “When Reality Hits” podcast with husband Jax Taylor. “It took a lot out of me.”

The couple, who wed in 2019, opened up about how much money they had spent in the early stages of their romance.

Taylor, 44, said financial hardships led to Brittany having to make the move from Kentucky to Los Angeles due to their long-distance relationship becoming a recurring travel expense.

“It was costing her,” he shared. “This is the beginning of the show and it was costing her $800 to $900.”

“She was in Kentucky [working at a bar and Hooters] and $800 is a lot of money [to spend on airfare].”

“It was like three months in,” Brittany chimed in. “Because I had to work, I was going back and forth to see you. I was at work for a week and then would see you the next week. It was like two months.”

The couple’s comments echo that of their co-star Kristen Doute’s, who recently opened up about how little she received for season 1 of the show.

“We had very little in our bank account,” the 40-year-old said in July 27. “It was $5,000 and if we became a primary, we got an additional $5,000.”

It comes as Deadline reported that Bravo is working on a “Vanderpump Rules” spin-off that includes all three former castmates.

While deals have not yet been confirmed, the outlet reported that the new reality series will feature an eight-episode season and will follow follow Taylor, Cartwright, and Doute after they traded their chaotic West Hollywood, Calif., lives for parenthood.

This spin-off comes on the heels of a heavily publicized Season 10 of “VPR,” which broke a massive cheating scandal involving Tom Sandocal, ex-girlfriend Ariana Madix and Raquel Leviss, and has since been dubbed “Scandoval.”
