One person is dead and six others are injured after a shooting on Friday night (August 11) at a backyard punk show in Minneapolis, The Associated Press reports. The Minneapolis Police Department is currently seeking two suspects, both of whom reportedly fled the scene of the crime. According to Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara, investigators believe a person at the show was being specifically targeted by a shooter.

The shooting occurred at the DIY venue Nudieland. One person at the show, Quinn McClurg, told MPR News, “I can’t even conceptualize something like that happening at a punk show. I was making sure all my friends are OK and making sure people are getting the help they needed.” Multiple GoFundMe pages have been launched to support the victims of the attack and their loved ones.
